about

The album is inspired by an immersion in the world of Frank Herbert's novels from the "Dune" cycle. From the emptiness of centuries, we hear fragments of phrases of the heroes of the sandy planet in whose depths the longed-for melange flows. We hear the electric rustle of grains of sand on the scales of Shai-Hulud, the howl of a merciless storm, the engines of ornetoptors, the nightly chants of the Freemans. We invite you on board the Highlaner, here like embryos in the womb float immersed in spice Guild Navigators. They will unmistakably deliver us to the desert planet Arrakis. Where we will be met by the blue sapphires eyes sparkling from under the hood of stillsuit of the post-industrial natives of the desert, dried up from thirst.
This album was recorded in the warm winter at the end of 2022 in the fishing village of Querim, on the coast of the Arabian Sea by Olga Quetzal and Andrey II:II.
